Reliance had launched a new mobile company LYF Mobiles on december 2015. LYF mobiles is a company which focuses on 4G ready smartphones which will be fully compatible with Reliance Jio Infocomm network. LYF Mobiles has already launched their official website www.mylyf.com and shared the technical specifications of all their offerings.
Reliance Jio Infocomm is yet to be launched for all, although the company has launched it’s closed beta for employees only on december 2015. The competition of 4G is just getting started where every company is competing for gaining the market share of billions of indians. Consumers purchasing any 4G Ready LYF smartphone will get 35GB high-speed 4G Data, it includes LYF Phones in all ranges; Flame, Wind, Earth & Water. It includes 10GB of data per month at 4G Speed, while you can do unlimited browsing after 10GB as well but a lower speed of 256 kbps. This will be an introductory plan.

If you buy an LYF branded phone you are allowed to get one Reliance Jio service enabled SIM card which can either be prepaid or postpaid. The introductory offer is limited to LYF phones only so you cannot avail this offer on phones of any other brand. The offer will also give consumers access to many paid subscriptions for free. The consumers will get a free subscription to the most of the Jio Apps such as Jio Pay, Jio VOD (Video on Demand), Jio Beats, Jio Mags, Jio Drive, Jio Money and couple more apps. These apps would come as a pre-installed package on the LYF handsets.

As one could guess Jio apps are provided for Reliance Jio customers to enhance their overall experience. They are the cherry on top which could also help in gaining customers as the access to these apps will be limited to Reliance Jio Infocomm subscribers only. While talking about the apps like Jio Play, VOD and Beats, they’ll allow you to watch 350+ TV channels on your handset in HD format, as well as you can watch advertisement-free content from thousands of titles. And if you like to listen to music on-the-go, there is an app for that too; it will have all the latest songs spanning in 20+ Indian languages. Now we are only waiting for the Jio service to roll out to public, which is expected to be live sometime in April.
