There is a ROG logo on the back of the lid which glow while using. Opening the lid there is 15.6-inch Display with slim bezels. It does not come with Webcam, There is an optional clip-on camera. Below it has a speaker, Keyboard with touchpad, bezels with 240Hz Display Branding. On the left edge are three USB Type-A ports, mic/headphone 3.5mm audio jack, while on the rear edge of the Strix Scar III there’s an HDMI 2.0b port, an RJ45 Ethernet jack, a USB Type-C slot and the proprietary power port on right there is a small illuminated port which has support for Keystone security chip which is a memory drive that allows you to transfer ROG profile and lighting settings quickly to another laptop.
It does not come with a full keyboard but trackpad can be used as Number keys. Keyboard comes with shortcut key which lets you change mode like ROG Armoury Crate key, Turbo, Balanced and Silent modes. Trackpad doubles as Numberpad u need to hold finger on top right to enable it and just touch it again to disable it, Asus calls it NumLK, This looks good but you cant use both touchpad and number at the same time. It comes with RGB backlit keyboard also RGB LED strip around the edge of its bottom case. There is an indent for the removable Keystone security chip, which also lights up when inserted. Asus ROG Strix SCAR III comes with plastic design, It has several textures and finishes. Build quality is good. The device weight 2.57 kg.

You can adjust RGB lighting, change fan speed, monitor the performance of the system and more. Armory Crate also gives you access to Sonic Radar, Sonic Studio and Game First. These let you change the sound setup of the machine and do clever things like optimize for performance or get a visual representation of the sound in the game
It comes with 66WHr, 4-cell Li-ion battery with a 230W power adapter. Battery life for normal use is around 4 hours, while gaming with turbo mode, we got less than 2 hours of battery life. It takes 2 hours to charge the laptop fully.most of the users prefer to play games while charging so battery life isn’t an issue.
