He also mentioned about the significance of keeping the details about the Galaxy S8 inside the company and not leaking any details about it outside, ahead of its flagship launch.
Galaxy S8 will retain the 2560×1440 pixel resolution of its predecessor, though, so it’s going to be called a 2K display. Expected to come in two variants 6.2-inch and 5.7-inch display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, and Exynos processor.Galaxy S8 might be the first smartphone to feature optical fingerprint recognition technology, which could be placed on the back instead of integrating into the home button. Samsung’s latest trademark filing with the European Union Intellectual Property Office has been uncovered which reveals that Samsung has trademarked the term “Smart AF.” The accompanying description mentions that this trademark will be associated with “mobile phones; smartphones; tablet computers; auto-focus photographic cameras for mobile phones, smartphones.” Galaxy S8 could come with stereo speakers, especially since the iPhone 7 already have them.
