Motorola has started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the 2015 Moto E (2nd gen) 4G in India. The Moto G (2nd Gen) got the update earlier this month.
Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G was launched in India running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) back in April last year. It received the Android 5.1 (Lollipop) update soon after. It got patches for Stagefright exploit back in September last year. Motorola confirmed Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for a range of smartphones back in October last year.
The Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) over-the-air (OTA) update v24.51.39 for the Moto E (2nd gen) is 453.9MB is size also includes the Android security update for January, 2016
