Apple iPhone SE will go on sale in India on April 8th at a starting price to Rs. 39,000 now the company has listed the pricing for both the models on their official website, which reveals that the 64GB iPhone SE model will cost Rs. 49,000.
iPhone SE features a 4-inch display with a curved 2.5D glass and a resolution of 1,136 x 640 pixels. The phone is powered by an Apple A9 processor, aided by an M9 motion processor, just like the iPhone 6s. The device gets Touch ID fingerprint sensor with NFC, so it can be used for Apple Pay. It comes in 16GB and 64GB internal memory variants.
Apple iPhone SE sports a 12-megapixel iSight camera Focus Pixels, True Tone flash 4K video recording, and an 8MP selfie shooter with Retina Flash. The device also gets the Live Photos feature, which records a few seconds of videos before and after capturing a photo. In addition to NFC, the phone offers VoLTE, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity options. Software-wise, the phone runs iOS 9.3 out of the box, and comes with always-on Siri integration.
Redington India already announced that it will start selling the iPhone SE across 3000 retail outlets in the country, beginning April 8th, Friday. Ingram Micro and Rashi Peripherals will offer the phone through retail outlets. Online retailers and operators are also expected to carry the iPhone SE.
