Coolpad Note 5 Lite Design looks similar to Coolpad Note 5. It comes with a Metal and Plastic body. On the front, there is a 5-inch HD Display with 2.5D Curved glass. Front facing camera with LED Flash, Notification LED earpiece on the bottom there are touch Capacitive buttons. On the right it has Hybrid SIM Slot, Power on-off button coming to left there is Volume rockers. On Top, there is 3.5mm audio jack, and on the bottom, it comes with a Micro USB port.
On Back Coolpad Note 5 Lite has a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash and Fingerprint Scanner. On the bottom, there is Coolpad Branding and Speaker grill. Back has a curved design which gives good grip in the hand. there is metallic rim runs around the body. Phone measures 145.3×72.3×8.7mm and weight 148g. The overall Build quality of the device is good and can be used in Single hand.
Taking about Display Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with 5-inch HD Display with 2.5D Glass on top of it whereas Note 5 was offering FHD Display. Display offers good colors and viewing angles both indoors and outdoor condition also 2.5D Glass on top gives good protection Display is much better than other Phones which are available in this price range.
The smartphone is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU which is not powerful in terms of Gaming we notice lag and also device heats up while playing high-end games.daily task like using Phone for Social networks, listening music, and playing normal games we did not face any issue. At this price point, Xiaomi is offering Snapdragon 430 with Redmi 3s Prime there could have been a better processor on Note 5 Lite. It has a 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage out of which around 10GB is available for the user which is further expandable with MicroSD card but Device does not have dedicated MicroSD card slot. Coolpad should have given 32GB of internal storage. On AnTuTu benchmark phone scores 30036 points On Geekbench 4 Phone scores 513 on a Single core and 1416 points. The overall performance of the Phone is Decent not that Great.
Camera
Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash. Both front and the Rear camera can record HD videos. The images captured turned out to be quite good in daylight in both front as well as Rear Camera, Indoor Camera samples were also Good, low light camera performance was average .8MP front camera comes with LED Flash which produces good selfies in low light. Camera app comes with some Modes such as Face Beauty, HDR, Dim light, Smile shot, Panorama, Gesture Shot. Pro mode allows to use optional features like white balance, exposure, ISO using an interface .overall camera performance was good at the price point it is available Check camera samples below
Software
Coolpad Note 5 Lite runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Cool UI 8.0. The user interface is similar to other Coolpad Phones Swiping up from below brings up shortcut to WiFi, Mobile data, Bluetooth, Auto brightness There’s also screen recording baked into the firmware. there are several preloaded apps such as Facebook, Amazon, WhatsApp, WeChat, WPS Office, Cool Service and Cool Store,. Cool services apps give details about the service centers available in India. now talking about notification panel there is some useful shortcut such as C button which works as shortcut button when you enable it there will small C logo on Display click it to use shortcuts such as screenshot, power button, restart etc.Cool Store app has bee also updated with new design lets you shop for apps, games and presents you deals on random products. The UI works fine with No lag. the user interface is very smooth and works fluidly without any lags. So when will Coolpad Note 5 Lite get Nougat Update it’s not yet clear when the device will get Update.
Fingerprint Scanner
Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a fingerprint scanner on rear similar to Coolpad Note 5 which is fast and responsive.

Video record – Press and Hold fingerprint scanner to start video recording also press and hold to stop it. Answer a Call – Use Fingerprint Scanner to answer a call. Use Fingerprint Scanner to record a call while on call. This may be not a new feature now available on all phones which have a fingerprint Scanner take Photos using Fingerprint Scanner.

It comes with a Cool Manager app which includes App Lock features with this users can Lock their Apps and Unlock it using Fingerprint scanner.

Coolpad Note 5 Audio Output via earphone is loud and clear but Speaker, not that loud Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a Hybrid SIM slot means One SIM and MicroSD card Or Dual SIM it also supports USB which is one of drawback of this Phone as it has only 16GB of internal storage there is also OTG Support on Coolpad Note 5 Lite. It is Packed by a 2500mAh nonremovable Battery which is able to deliver 12-15 hours of Battery life with heavy use like Gaming, Calls, 4G, WiFi, Listening music, Social media If not a heavy user it can last for a day device can be charged in 80-90 minutes
Coolpad Note 5 Lite at Rs 8199 offers Good Display, Camera Decent performance, Battery Life at this price there are other Options like Redmi 3s Prime which offers Better processor and Bigger Battery.
