Chefs are bringing their fans into their kitchen. Journalists are hosting global conversations on topics they care about. Aspiring musicians can now put on a live concert for their friends. Many people all over the world are using Facebook Live in many different ways to talk to and interact with the people that matter most to them.
Facebook today announce new features for Facebook Live to give you more ways to discover, share, and interact with live video, and more ways to personalize your live broadcasts Facebook Live is now launched to every user on the massive social networking site. Through the use of their Mentions app for iOS and Android, anyone can broadcast real-time footage to their friends and public. Plus, Facebook has added more features to it.
You can no go Live in Facebook Groups and Events as well. This allows you to broadcast to a specific crowd and purpose. For example, in an event page, you can broadcast the happenings for those who can’t attend. There’s also Live reactions for fun and instant feedback and Live Filters to add effect on your video. Plus, there’s now the ability to send out an invitation to people watch with you.
Facebook is also rolling out a dedicated place to discover live videos categorized depending on topics or friends. Non-live videos will be available too when you just missed out the broadcast. Over 60 countries can now share live videos.
