Gionee GN8001 gets certified by TENAA . This is a phablet featuring a 6-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 (FHD). An octa-core 1.3GHz CPU is under the hood, with 3GB of RAM on board. 32GB of native storage is inside, with a 128GB capacity microSD slot available for those who need additional memory.
The rear-facing camera will either be 13MP or 8MP, and a 5MP front-facing camera snaps selfies and handles video chats. We don’t have information about the battery powering the device, but the juicer inside could be in the neighborhood of 3000mAh. Android 5.1 is pre-installed on the GN8001, which measures 8.2mm thick, but tips the scales at a heavy 206 grams.
The Gionee GN8001 supports 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and USB connectivity. So far, there is no word on pricing or availability. But now that the phone has been certified by TENAA
