Gionee today launched a new smartphone Gionee Marathon M5 Lite, a 5-inch device that comes with mid-range specs. Gione is expected to launch  Marathon M5 Plus.on December 21
Gionee Marathon M5 Lite comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display (1280 x 720 pixels), with a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, and also with 1 GB of RAM memory. On storage, it comes with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB with MicroSD card.
Inside we have an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor, 4G LTE connectivity and dual-SIM support,WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system alongside the Amigo UI 3.0 custom interface applied on top. Gionee Marathon M5 Plus brings a 4000 mAh battery, unit that promises up to 40 hours of talk time or 39 days of standby time.
In spite of the big battery, this phone keeps a 8.5 mm thin body.As for the price, Gionee Marathon M5 Lite costs just $154 in China.
