Google has expanded its Android One program to Africa. It has partnered with hardware manufacturer Infinix to launch Infinix Hot 2 Android One smartphone in 6 African countries – Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Morocco, and Nigeria. Android One was launched in India first and got expanded to Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Myanmar, Pakistan, and Thailand.
Infinix Hot 2 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor with 1/2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Dual SIM device runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. on connectivity include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and packs a 2200mAh battery.

Infinix Hot 2 X510 comes in White, Black, Red, Blue colors, is priced at(US$ 87 / Rs. 5,750 approx.) for the 1GB RAM version and (US$ 98 / Rs. 6,400 approx.) for the 2GB RAM version in Gold color in Nigeria, which is available through select retail outlets and via online retailer Jumia. It’s also available from Jumia in Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Morocco.
