Google has expanded its Android One program to Myanmar, which becomes the eighth country to get Android One smartphones officially after India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines and Turkey. Google has partnered with Cherry Mobile to launch the Cherry Mobile One smartphone in the country.

Android One phones will also automatically receive an update to the next version of Android soon after it is released.
