HTC has finally started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its 2014 flagship One (M8) smartphone in India. The latest Android update for the HTC One (M8) is now available over-the-air (OTA).
Users can manually check for the update via Settings> About Phone> System Update. The Marshmallow update bumps the software number of One (M8) to 6.12.161.4 and also brings the new Sense 7 UI. Android 6.0 Marshmallow (previously just Android M) brings features such as revamped app permissions; Google Now on Tap feature; Android Pay mobile payment system, and new fingerprint APIs for developers among others.
