HTC renews partnership with NORTHEAST UNITED FC


  HTC, a global leader in mobile innovation and technology, today announced the next stride in its two-pronged pact with John Abraham in a gala hosted by Cher Wang, Chairwoman & CEO of HTC. HTC will renew its lead sponsor partnership with NorthEast United FC for season-2 of ISL (Indian Soccer League), and has also signed John Abraham as its brand evangelist for India.

 At an event to unveil the new official club jersey, Cher Wang, Chairwoman & CEO, HTC stated that, “HTC is committed to enabling people to pursue their brilliance in their chosen field, and is keen to further excite the India market with our innovations. We are excited to continue our support of NorthEast United FC, and we look forward to seizing this opportunity to revolutionize the face of Indian Soccer and sports in India as a whole. ISL is the fourth-highest attended football league in the world, and more than 430 million viewers tuned in last year.”

The Indian Super League season will kick off on October 3rd and last until mid-December. NorthEast United FC will play its first match on October 6th in Kerala.
