InFocus which entered the Indian market early this year, will soon be foraying into the wearables space.According to a company spokesperson, the first InFocus product in the wearables category will be a smartwatch, which will be announced for the Indian market early next year. The watch is currently in testing stage, and the company will be in a position to update the media on this in January next year, said the spokesperson.

Talking about what would make it stand out in the market, he said, “In terms of display and looks, it will be in line with what you are seeing in the market, but on the USP front, we are planning to infuse some utility targeted at different set of users, let’s say women and kids.” In other words, it will be a smartwatch for everyone with some of the features targeted at a particular set of users.
Besides, the company, which already has its phones in different price segments, is now aiming to place one in the Rs 11K to 13K phone category. phone could be called the InFocus M680 and will come with features including a 5.5-inch full HD display, 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front-facing cameras, and 2 GB of RAM.
