Lenovo Tech World event in Beijing, China, Lenovo unveiled a new ThinkPad 10, its latest portable 2-in-1 hybrid Windows device aimed at business users. The laptop-cum-tablet is powered by Windows 10 and offers several interesting additions including better security features and a range of enticing accessories.
ThinkPad 10 feature a 10.1-inch IPS 10 point Multi-touch display of FHD It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z8500 or Z8700 processor coupled with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Users have the option to lace up to 4GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB eMMC SSDs.
On the connectivity front, the ThinkPad 10 supports 3G/4G LTE and other standard features. It also has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash at the rear end and a 1.2-megapixel sensor upfront. It ships with an integrated Li-Polymer battery of 32Wh capacity, which as the company claims, will last for 10 hours on a single charge under typical usage.
As for availability ThinkPad 10 will go on sale in August starting at $549.
