LG G6 event scheduled for February 26 at MWC 2017

LG has started sending out media invites for LG G6 event on February 26 at MWC 2017. Invite says “See More, Play More.”

 LG G6 will not be modular like the G5. Instead, its design is said to comprise of metal and glass and is expected to be a departure from what LG has made in the past.The LG G6 is expected to keep the 3.5mm headphone jack, as per the 3D renders




LG is Rumored to debut its new display with 18:9 aspect ratio.LG teaser aims at the G6 being waterproof and having a larger display. Which brings us to a larger 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2880x1440px.

LG’s next-generation strategy smartphone features a variety of user experiences (UX) that can be enjoyed conveniently at 18: 9 aspect ratio. With a high resolution (1,440×2,880) display, the Pixel Per Inch (PPI) per inch is 564.

LG Electronics is applying heat pipes to new products to lower the heat, and by introducing various quality tests that are higher than international standards, safety is greatly enhanced. We also introduce artificial intelligence to the remote AS sequentially. The intelligent remote AS is one level faster and more accurate, and it also provides tailored services for each customer according to the level of familiarity with IT.

LG G6 will come with a USB Type-C port on the bottom along with a loudspeaker grill and also include a 3.5 audio jack on the top. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC and come with a new wireless charging module to charge the phone up to 50% in 30 minutes.

The LG MWC 2017 conference at Barcelona, Spain is scheduled for February 26th and starts at 12:00 PM CET (4:30 PM IST).
