Performance
Coming to performance Canvas Nitro 4G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 Octa core processor clocked at 1,4 GHz which is coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage out of which 11.49 GB is available for a user which is further expandable up to 32 GB via MicroSD card. The performance of the device is quite smooth. the device does not lag while playing games or while using apps. played games such as Temple Run 2, Angry Birds, Racing fever which works fine with no heating issue, while playing some high-end games like  Asphalt 8, Real racing 3 there was little frame drops, gets warms after playing games for more than 15-min. Multitasking on the devices works smoothly without any issues with almost 10-12 apps running in the background. We tried Running some benchmark apps AnTuTu Benchmark scored 30637. Geekbench 3 scored 2103 on multi core and 587 on a Single core. On Quadrant Standard it scored 19784
Micromax Canvas Nitro 4G runs on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 out of the box which is similar to Stock Android with. It comes with some pre-installed applications such as pp Center, Chaatz, Clean Master, Hotstar, Housing, NewsHunt, Quikr, Scandid, Snapdeal, swift key, Saavn. etc apps can be moved to MicroSD card also User interface offers smooth user experience.
Camera
On camera, it comes with 13MP Â Auto-Focus rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera can click some well-detailed photos in daylight as well as indoors with minimal noise. Even close-up macro shots are superb. In low light, and even in the night mode images captured are not up to mark. The 5-megapixel front camera is sharp and wide enough for group selfies and occasional video calls .phone also do full HD video recording from the rear camera. The camera app comes with some effects such as HDR, Auto HDR, Night, Firework, Candlelight Landscape and much more. Both rear and front camera can capture decent images. But camera app needs more improvement Third party camera app works fine. Check out some camera samples below.

Canvas Nitro 4G has a Dual SIM support and 4G connectivity with support for both TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India.  Also supports Bluetooth, GPS, WIFi. Audio Quality on the device is clear but little bit low , Speaker grill is located On bottom near USB port. The device is packed by a 2500mAh removable battery which gives battery back up of More than One day under Normal use. While on 3G, WIFI, Normal Internet, playing games we got 12 hours of battery back. There is also power saving mode which is now available in every device running on Lollipop OS.
