Misfit has made its debut in the country by launching its wearables exclusively on Snapdeal.Misfit is launching three wearables in India, namely the Shine, Flash, and the Flash Link, with prices starting from Rs 1,999. Unlike Jawbone’s smartbands, which go on sale later this month, Misfit’s fitness trackers have already gone on sale on Snapdeal.
The Misfit Flash Link is the cheapest of the three, priced at Rs 1,999. The wearable was launched back in July this year, and despite the low price, it offers functionalities like fitness tracking, sleep tracking and smart button, which can be used to click selfies, control your music, as well as change slides at the tap of your wrist. You won’t however get a bracelet, but instead just a clip.
The Misfit Flash is priced at Rs 2,499, and is a bracelet built using soft-touch plastic and is also available in a variety of colors. The wearable tracks the number of steps taken, calories burnt, sleep pattern, and keeps the users notified of their progress via LED lights. Like the Flash Link, this too can be used a smart button for the aforementioned tasks.
The Misfit Shine is the most expensive of the three at Rs 5,499, and is also among the best looking smartbands out there. The fitness band measures the number of steps taken, calories burnt, tracks deep and light sleep. This band is available with different materials like a luxe leather band or a polished necklace.
The aforementioned fitness trackers are all water resistant, and communicate with a smartphone via a companion app. This app is available on the Google Play Store as well as the App Store.
“India is one of the fastest growing markets for consumer technology worldwide and is a hotspot of new tech and trends,” Misfit CFO and COO Christy Le said. “We’re excited to share our products with this growing, enthusiastic, and tech-savvy audience.”
