Philips launched two Android-based smartphones in India, dubbed Xenium I908 and Xenium S309, priced at Rs. 11,799 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.
Philips Xenium I908 features a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 441ppi.powered by a a 1.7GHz octa-core (unspecified chipset) processor alongside 2GB of RAM.Dual SIM device runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. It sports 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD, card (up to 32GB).
The device features a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash, while also housing a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an 88-degree wide-angle lens for selfies.Connectivity options on the Philips I908 include Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, and 3G. It measures 143x70x8.8mm and weighs around 155.8 grams.device is packed by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 25 hours of talk time and up to 1080 hours of standby time.

Philips Xenium S309, the budget smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT display. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based smartphone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core (unspecified chipset) processor alongside 512MB of RAM. It sports 4GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD, card (up to 32GB). The smartphone features a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with CMOS sensor, and LED flash, while also housing a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.
It also includes a 1600mAh Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver up to 9.5 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time. The Philips Xenium S309 measures 127.5×64.5×10.8mm and weighs around 126.7 grams. Connectivity features stay almost the same as Xenium I908, and include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, FM radio, and 3G.
