Xiaomi has launched Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro smartphones in China. Both Phones have a 6.67-inch 2K AMOLED flat screen jointly developed with TCL featuring new M9 luminescent material offering peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, 120Hz refresh rate.
It has support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision, full brightness DC dimming, 2560Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and 12-bit 68.7 billion colors. It features ultrasonic fingerprint for the first time.
Redmi K80 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with D1 gaming chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. There is T1S signal enhancement chip for the first time, upgraded Xiaomi Xingchen Communication with 19 5G frequency bands for a strong signal. Redmi K80 is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
The phone has triple rear cameras with a 50MP 1/1.55″ Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, Xiaomi AISP 2.0, 13.2EV movie-level high dynamic range, 32MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP 2.5x telephoto camera with 10cm macro option. The REDMI K80 same main camera with OIS, but has an 8MP ultra-wide camera and doesn’t have a telephoto cameraThe phone has IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
