Samsung has started rollout One UI 8.5 Stable update. The update primarily focuses on integrating advanced tools to enhance communication and creative experiences across compatible smartphones and tablets.
OneUI 8.5 update will be available for the following smartphone models:
Galaxy S Series: Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 series, and Galaxy S24 FE.
Galaxy Z Series: Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6.
In addition to mobile phones, the update will also be distributed to Samsung’s premium tablet lineups, specifically the Galaxy Tab S11 series and the Galaxy Tab S10 series.
The One UI 8.5 rollout follows a phased schedule, beginning in South Korea on May 6 and subsequently expanding to international markets.

Phase 1: Galaxy S25 Series (Korea First)
May 6: The initial release begins in South Korea for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Phase 2: Global Expansion Begins
May 8: The global rollout for the Galaxy S25 series commences, expanding the update to key markets including India, the United States, and Europe.
May 9: Confirmed rollout window for Canadian carriers.
Phase 3: Foldables and Previous Flagships
May 9–14: The update extends to the latest foldable devices, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, alongside the Galaxy S24 series.
May 14–21: The rollout continues for the previous generation of foldables (Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6) and the Galaxy S23 series.
Phase 4: Mid-Range and Tablets
May 21–30: The final phase of this rollout wave brings One UI 8.5 to the Galaxy Tab S11 series, as well as select mid-range smartphones, including the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36.
