Asus finally launched ZenFone Zoom in India priced at Rs 37,999 which was announced at CES 2015. Asus says ZenFone Zoom is world’s thinnest smartphone to have a camera with a 3x optical zoom
Zenfone Zoom has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The design of the Zenfone Zoom is similar to other Zenfone smartphones on the front. It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens. Earpiece, notification LED.ASUS has given diamond cutting edges with an aluminum unibody frame and with 5mm ultra-thin edges.
The volume rockers and the power button are present on the right side.The shutter key and a video key are also present on the same side.There is nothing on the other side. The smartphone is just 11.95 mm, making it the world’s thinnest smartphone with a 13-megapixel camera and 3X optical zoom.micro USB slot and the primary microphone are present on the bottom.smartphone has f/2.7- to 4.8-aperture since it has a 3X optical zoom lens. It has 10-element lenses with optical image stabilization (OIS), laser auto-focus and dual-color Real Tone flash.
The micro USB slot and the primary microphone are present on the bottom. 3.5mm Audio jack is located on top of the phone.It has Asus branding on the back. The smartphone weighs 185 grams, mainly due to the huge zoom lens. It comes in Meteorite black and Glacier white colors.
Asus ZenFone Zoom is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3590 processor with PowerVR G6430 GPU with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM which is further expandable via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.0 with Zen UI on Top of it. Connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC. The device is packed with a 3000mAh battery .
