Honor has started rolling out the Android Marshmallow update for its Honor 5X smartphone in India.Marshmallow update for the device is being rolled out over-the-air via the HiCare application in Asian regions including India. In addition to the usual Marshmallow goodies, the update also brings the brand’s new EMUI 4.0 user interface.

The update is being rolled out over-the-air and is available via the HiCare application. To get the update, you can open the HiCare app, and select India as the region in the OS upgrade section.
Honor 5X feature a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display powered by a 1.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 Octa-Core (MSM8939) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage which is further expandable with a microSD card. On camera, it has a 13MP rear camera and a front camera 5MP, an authentication system by reading fingerprints which was integrated into the back of the device, packed by a 3000mAh battery.
