HTC india today rolls out a software update (v1.56.707.80) for the One A9 in India, which brings support for the latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology along with other system enhancements.
Update size is 419MB wghich brings Android 6.0.1 update with Quick Charge 3.0 support ,android security updates , and more. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology offers faster charging than Quick Charge 2.0. The update also brings the ability to adjust the display’s colour temperature and other system enhancements.
HTC A9 has a 5-inch full HD AMOLED, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor coupled with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB with microSD card. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that improves camera’s focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), RAW image capture and an Ultrapixel front-facing camera. It also has a multi-directional fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button for secured lock and Android Pay, and comes with 4G LTE connectivity with support for FDD: Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 28 and TDD: Bands 38, 40, 41 in the Asian version. It has powerful speakers on the bottom and has built-in DAC that delivers 192kHz / 24bit studio-quality audio. The device is packed by a 2150mAh battery.
