LeEco Le 2 Review

LeEco previously known as LeTv enters in Indian market with the launch  Le Max, Le 1s and Le 1S Eco now company has launched Le Max 2 and Le 2 in India. LeEco Le 2 comes with USB Type -C port featuring CDLA (continual Digital Lossless audio) which offers high-quality end to end Lossless audio. Design & Display

Le 2 has a similar Display compared to Le 2 comes with a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it, Pixel density of 403PPI display produces great colors and viewing angles are also good. Le has a 500 nits bright display, which works brilliantly even under sunlight, and is brighter we can also customize the display color modes with options such as the Vivid, Natural and Soft depending on your preference.one of the best display’s available in price segment at which Le 2 offers.

Performance

Le 2 smartphone is powered by a 1.8 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 510 GPU coupled with  3GB  RAM and 32GB of internal memory out of which 25GB is available for the user the device lacks microSD card. We played few graphic intensive games on the phone such as Asphalt 8, GTA, real racing and some other games like Subway Surfer, temple run we didn’t notice any lag while playing games. Yes, the device gets heated up while playing high-end games for more than half hour that’s not an issue as smartphone comes with a metal body. While using the phone on Normal usage we didn’t notice any heating issues. We tried running some benchmark apps On AnTuTu Benchmark Phone scores 82203  points. On GeekBench 3 Phone scores 1543 on single core and 4707 on Multi-core. The phone scores 35490 points on Quadrant standard benchmarks. The overall performance is fast and smooth.

Camera

Le 2 has a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 76.5-degree wide-angle for selfies. The 16-megapixel rear camera comes with features such as PDAF and LED flash and can also shoot videos in 4K resolution supports the slow motion. In terms of custom settings, you can set the white balance, ISO level, exposure, contrast, sharp ness and saturation levels.  Rear camera captures some good images in day light conditions. In low light pictures, captures are not up to mark. The front camera can capture decent selfies. the camera app also comes with some pre-loaded mode. Check out camera samples

Software

Le 2  runs on Android Marshmallow with EUI 5.8 top of it there’s no app drawer. overall the user interface is quite smooth and fast there are some customization options available. There are options to change themes, double tap on the back button to get on notification panel .user interface looks similar to iOS. There aren’t very many pre loaded apps -you get Yahoo Weather, My LeTV which is a company’s cloud storage and security services. Also an app Remote Control app The feature allows you to remote control supported devices such as TV, projector, air conditioners and can also be used as a universal remote. The device also supports OTG USB Type C. LeEco le 2 comes LeEco membership which offers free content with  Levidi watch online videos, Live app offers to watch TV episodes on a smartphone . Overall software is quick we didn’t have any issue

Fingerprint Scanner

Le 2 comes with a Fingerprint scanner at the back.It is easy to setup fingerprint scanner and also unlocks the device fast, we can add up to 5 fingerprints, You can also tap the sensor to click photos Performance of scanner is quick and responsive.

Connectivity & Battery

On connectivity device include  4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS, USB  Type C and MHL 2.0. Dual SIM supports 4G LTE. The device does not come with 3.5mm audio jack but comes with USB Type -C port featuring CDLA (continual Digital Lossless audio) which offers high-quality end to end Lossless Audio, Overall audio Quality on the device is loud and clear both on speakers output and call quality.  Le 2  is packed with a 3000mAh nonremovable battery which supports fast charging similar to LeEco Le 1s we got a battery backup of 10-11 hour battery backup on a single charge while using WiFi, music, games, social networks. the device supports fast charging from 0-60% in just 20 minutes. with normal use it can last for a day, it also comes with some power saving modes such as smart power saving, super power saving, ultra-long standby time.
