Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with Metal body whereas Realme 1 has a plastic body with Diamond like the finish on Rear. Realme 1 has 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ IPS display compared to 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display on Redmi Note 5 Pro. Both Phones have MicroUSB port. Realme 1 is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor compared to Snapdragon 636 processor.
Realme 1 runs on Android Oreo 8.1 Based on Color 5.0, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also runs on Android 8.1 with MIUI 9.5. Realme 1 comes with 3GB/4/6GB RAM and 32/64/128GB of internal storage compared to Note 5 Pro which has 4/6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Realme 1 has support for dedicated MicroSD card.
On Camera Realme 1 has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, a f/2.2 aperture and 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.2 aperture both cameras can record 1080P videos and has support for depth mode. Redmi Note 5 Pro has a 12MP rear camera with dual-tone LED Flash, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, a secondary 5MP camera with 1.12μm, f/2.0 aperture and 20MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, LED flash, both have a portrait mode, 1080P video recording. Both Phones comes with Face unlock which works well under good lighting conditions but struggles in low light. Realme 1 lacks fingerprint Scanner. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has 4000mAh Battery compared to 3410mAh battery on Note 5 Pro both does not support fast charge and takes around 2 Hour 20 Min to charge fully.

Realme 1 lacks Fingerprint Scanner whereas Redmi Note 5 Pro offers Dual Rear Camera, 20MP front Camera, Bigger Battery. Should you buy Realme 1 instead of Redmi Note 5 Pro? No Redmi Note 5 Pro offers Much better Camera’s has Fingerprint Scanner, Helio P60 on paper benchmark Scores looks better but in Daily use, you won’t notice much difference. If your budget is below 10,000 then Realme 1 is value for money.
