Ambani revealed that 80 percent of its current users consumed 1GB data per day, while 20 percent consumed disproportionately higher amounts – which ended up congesting the network. Thus, Reliance Jio has announced a new daily FUP limit of 1GB, which if exhausted will result in slower speeds. speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps.
Two Jio 4G Data TopUp will be available for Regular 4G Speed post 1GB usage under JNO : 1GB at Rs.51 for 1Day 6GB at Rs.301 for 28days.
Subsrcibers also get access to unlimited free local and national SMS messages, and to Jio’s full suite of apps which includes the likes of JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioXpressNews, JioSecurity, JioDrive, JioMags and JioMoney among others. Apps like JioPlay lets you watch live TV on the go, JioOnDemand lets you watch the movies from the company’s library, JioBeats is the company’s music streaming service, and JioMoney is a digital wallet that lets you transfer money to other people, as well as pay utility and various other kinds of bills.

Addressing employees and customers, Ambani said in under three months Reliance Jio has become fastest growing technology company in the world, surpassing even Facebook. “Since its birth Jio has grown faster that Facebook, Whatsapp and Skype,” Ambani said, thanking Indians.
Ambani cited eKYC which has helped sign up six lakh customers every single day over the past six months ending the long queues and waiting periods. Jio now activates SIMs in under five minutes. Ambani called this the best experience anywhere in the world, adding that there were two lakh digitally enabled outlets in India now and said the number will double soon.
Ambani said a Jio user is using 25 times more data than the average Indian broadband users. He, however, expressed his displeasure at existing service providers not helping Jio reduce call drops.
