Two firmware branches already exist for this device: “Beryllium” and “Beryllium_global.” Within the latest MIUI Camera application, two methods link “Beryllium” to India. These methods, shown below, are called “isIndiaBeautyFilter” and “getDualCameraWaterMarkFilePathVendor.” Both check a build property called “ro.boot.hwc” that returns true only if it’s “India.”

There is No details on when this smartphone will be launched. Xiaomi is yet to launch a flagship smartphone in 2018 in India.
