Sony Mobile has started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to Xperia Z2 and Z3 series. The update is currently live for the Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 ony) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only). The new firmware has build number 23.5.A.0.570
Sony has only pulled the Marshmallow trigger on those variants that are part of the beta programme, perhaps in an effort to start getting the update to the public in a timely fashion.The new update includes the Camera 2.0.0 user interface and February Android security patch level

All new camera interface: switch between modes and customise settings with simple gestures.
Smart battery life: do more for longer, with Doze and App Standby.
Xperia Messaging: express yourself and get creative with easy in-app access to Stickers.
Direct Share: share activity with friends, recent contacts and app lists.
Sony Mobile already confirmed that Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 Tablet,Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4 will get the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update. These are expected to receive the update soon.
