Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in Bengaluru

After Mumbai Vodafone India today announced the launch of the Vodafone 4G LTE services in Bengaluru including prominent business and residential corridors of Bengaluru across Jayanagar, Basavangudi, J.P.Nagar, Electronic City, Bangalore International Airport, Whitefield, B.T.M. Layout, Chamrajpet and Koramangala.


The service, which in Bengaluru is built on a strong fibre backhaul and is supported by its own new and superfast 3G services on a modern network of 2100 MHz, would allow customers to experience and enhanced mobile internet experience with faster uploads/downloads.

Speaking about the launch of Vodafone 4G in Bengaluru, Sunil Sood, Managing Director & CEO, Vodafone India, said, “We are delighted to launch our high-speed 4G services in Bengaluru for our customers to experience the most advanced wireless broadband experience available across the globe today. With this, we complete the first phase of roll-out of our 4G services across Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR and Mumbai. Initial response from customers who have experienced our 4G services in these markets has been positive and encouraging. 4G has the potential to revolutionize the mobile experience through powerful innovation that impacts how we work and live. As an introductory offer, Vodafone is offering a complimentary upgrade to Vodafone 4G SIM for all its customers. Further the company is also offering Free Unlimited movie subscription through a partnership with Hungama Play for three months. The data packs are priced starting at just Rs. 8 and go up to 20 GB. Further, customers can avail double data of 2 GB on Rs. 265 recharge.
