The new version for Redmi 1S is MIUI 9.2.2.0.KHCMIEK, Redmi Note is MIUI 9.2.2.0.KHIMIEK and Redmi Note Prime is MIUI 9.2.3.0.KHKMIEK, the update for the devices is around 150-200 MB in size, but the security patch on all three devices doesn’t get updated and the devices are still running October 2016 security patch which is ages old now.
Recently, the company started rolling out MIUI 9.2 to devices, the main highlights of MIUI 9.2 include Interactive and Fresh UI changes, New Gallery App, Calendar Cards, App Vault, Mi Video App, New Mi Explorer.
The update is rolling out in phases and hopefully will be rolled out to all users by the end of the week. The update doesn’t bring any major feature to all three devices but it is certainly refreshing and should make the devices smoother than ever as MIUI 9 is focused towards optimization.
