Samsung Galaxy F14 Review

Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy F14 5G and Galaxy M14 5G smartphones in India with 6000mAh Battery, and 13 5G Bands. Galaxy F14 5G is priced under Rs 15,000. Here’s our review of Galaxy F14.

Samsung Galaxy F14 5G has a 6.6-inch Notch Display with bezels that looks like a 2019 phone. On right, it has a Volume and Power button which acts as a fingerprint scanner. SIM Slot on the left side. On the bottom, it has a 3.5mm audio jack, Type C port, speaker grill, and noise cancellation microphone. The secondary microphone is on top. On the Rear, it has a 50MP Dual rear camera and Samsung branding. (Galaxy M14 Triple camera). It comes with a plastic build and does attract fingerprints, Samsung Galaxy F14 doesn’t come with a case so it is recommended to phone with a case, else u will notice minor scratches on it. The Phone measures 166.8 x 77.2 x 9.4mm and Weight: 205g. It can be used with a single hand, In hand feel is decent. Overall build quality is good.

On display, it has a 6.6-inch (1080 x 2408 pixels) FHD+ Infinity-V LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It produces good colors, and viewing angles in bright sunlight is good. AMOLED panel at this price range would have been better. Galaxy F23 offers 120Hz Refresh Rate.

Samsung Galaxy F14 5G is powered by an Octa Core Exynos 1330 5nm processor with Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. It comes with 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB storage which is further expandable up to 1TB with microSD. The 4GB RAM variant has up to 4GB of Virtual RAM support. The phone scores 369119 points on Antutu. In terms of casual use and playing normal games performance is good, while playing high-end games or multitasking will you notice lags, and get warm while playing games for a long time Overall performance is good.

On Camera has a 50MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, 2MP depth LED flash, and 13MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. Camera modes include Portrait, Photo, Video, Pro, Panorama, food, and Night. The daylight and low-light camera samples are good. the front camera captures good selfies. Portrait mode is decent. The video recording is decent.

Samsung Galaxy F14 runs on Android 13 with OneUI 5.1. Which will be getting 2 years of Android Updates and 4 years of security updates. It does come with some preloaded Apps which can be uninstalled. It has support for Samsung Pay Mini, Samsung Knox, Secure Folder, voice focus, and NFC. The user interface is smooth. It has a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner which works fast. It has support for Dolby Atmos. Speaker output is loud and clear, and Voice call output is also good. Connectivity options include 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.

Galaxy F14 is packed with a 6000mAh Battery which is able to deliver 2 days of battery life in normal use. In our battery test, we got 11 Hours of battery backup which included gaming, video playback, and camera. It supports 25W Charging which takes around 1 Hour 50min to charge fully. It doesn’t come with Charger in the box.

Samsung Galaxy F14 5G comes in GOAT Green, Purple, and OMG Black color options priced at Rs 14,490 for 4GB RAM and Rs 15,990 for 6GB RAM. Galaxy F14 offers a good camera, battery life, and performance, Design looks old lacks an ultrawide sensor, No charger in box.
