Infinix has launched Infinix Note 30 5G Smartphone in the Note series. It comes with 120Hz Refresh Rate, 108MP Triple rear camera, 45W Fast Charging price starting at Rs 14,999. Here’s our review of the Infinix Note 30 5G.
We have the Magic Black color variant, It has a Matte finish design with a plastic build and does not attract fingerprints. On the front, it has a 6.78-inch FHD+ Punch Hole display, a Power and volume button on the right, and SIM Tray on the left. USB Type C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Speaker on the bottom. On top, it has a speaker grill and JBL branding.
On the Rear, it has a square camera module and Infinix branding. The phone measures 168.51mm* 76.51mm* 8.45mm and Weight 204.7 g. A bigger display is not usable with a single hand. Boxy type design gives a good grip in hand. Overall build quality is good.
It is powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 6080 6nm processor (Dual 2.4GHz Cortex-A76 + Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs) with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB UFS 2.2 storage, Support for up to 8GB Virtual RAM, and Dedicated MicroSD Card support up to 2TB. On Geekbench it scores 771 on single core and 1772 multicore score. In terms of normal use, multitasking, gaming performance is good, No heating issues. The phone gets warm while playing games for a long time. Overall performance is good.
On Camera Infinix Note 30 5G has a 108MP Main camera, 2MP depth sensor, and AI lens. It has a 16MP front-facing camera. Both cameras can record 2k Videos. Camera modes include Super Night Mode, Dual View Mode, Film Mode, Street Photography Filter, Sky Remapping, Style Makeup, Timelapse, Slow Motion, Pro, Short Video, Sky Shop, and Wide Selfie. 108MP camera captures good images in daylight and low light conditions, portrait images are decent. the front camera captures good selfies, and portrait edge detection from the front camera is decent. Video recording at 1080p has EIS support which works well. Overall camera performance is good

Infinix Note 30 is packed by a 5000mAh Battery which is able to deliver one day of battery life. In our battery test, we got around 7 Hours of battery life. Casual use battery doesn’t drop when compared to gaming or using mobile data all time. It has support for 45W Type-C Fast Charging which takes around 1 Hour 10 Min to charge fully.
Bypass Charging at 30% the charging current bypasses the battery to go straight to the motherboard. This reduces overheating while charging and playing at the same time. Compared with regular charging mode, Bypass Charging can reduce the temperature increase by a maximum of 7°C. AI Smart Charge uses AI models to learn your phone usage patterns and predict when you will go to sleep and wake up. The phone supports the PD 3.0 protocol, but the charger does not. Other chargers that support the PD 3.0 protocol can be used for fast charging of mobile phones.
It runs on XOS13 Based on Android 13 which will be getting 2-Year Security Patch & 1 Android Update. It comes with a few preloaded apps which can be uninstalled. It has Folax Voice assistant, Smart panel, Social Turbo, Xclone, Kids mode, and Video assistant feature. The user interface is good, you can disable unwanted apps. It comes with Dust and Splash resistance (IP53), supports OTG wired reverse charging, and wired charging for other devices, JBL Stereo Dual Speakers output is loud and clear, and Voice call quality is good. It supports 14 5G bands, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C. There is support for OTG. It comes with a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner that also supports face unlock. The fingerprint scanner works fast.
