2026 Q-Series soundbars

The 2026 Q-Series soundbars are designed to deliver cinematic audio experiences across different room sizes and listening preferences, combining multi-channel hardware with AI-based sound tuning.

HW-Q990H flagship soundbar

The HW-Q990H is Samsung’s flagship soundbar for 2026 and delivers the company’s most advanced soundbar configuration to date.

Key specifications include:

  • 11.1.4-channel audio system
  • 7.0.2-channel main soundbar
  • 4.0.2-channel rear speakers
  • Dual 8-inch driver compact active subwoofer
  • Up-firing channels for expanded vertical sound
  • Next-generation AI tuning for room-aware calibration

The system is designed to provide high-output sound with a space-efficient bass design, targeting home theater-style audio without requiring large standalone components.

New audio features

The HW-Q990H introduces two new sound processing features: Sound Elevation, which positions dialogue closer to the center of the screen for more natural voice placement, Auto Volume, which keeps volume levels consistent across channels and different types of content

All-in-One soundbar: HW-QS90H

New to the 2026 lineup, the HW-QS90H All-in-One soundbar combines integrated bass with flexible installation options.

Its core specifications include:

  • 7.1.2-channel audio configuration
  • 13 total drivers
  • Nine wide-range speakers
  • Built-in Quad Bass Woofer system
  • No separate external subwoofer required

Samsung Soundbar (HW-Q990H model) delivers its most immersive soundbar experience yet, debuting Sound Elevation, a technology that lifts dialogue toward the center of the screen for more natural sounding audio. It also introduces Auto Volume, which maintains consistent volume across channels and content for a smoother, more balanced listening experience.

The 11.1.4-channel system combines a 7.0.2 main bar, 4.0.2 rear speakers and dual 8-inch driver built-in compact active subwoofer, refined for a powerful and space-efficient bass. Up-firing channels and next-generation AI tuning further broaden the sound field, bringing a sense of scale typically associated with professional home theater setups.

New to the 2026 lineup is Samsung’s All-in-One Soundbar (HW-QS90H model), which blends performance with aesthetic versatility. Its Convertible Fit design supports both wall-mount and tabletop placements, while a built-in gyro sensor automatically adapts channel distribution based on orientation.

A 7.1.2-channel system with 13 drivers — including nine wide-range speakers — and a built-in Quad Bass Woofer system deliver deep bass without the need for a separate subwoofer.

Both models feature a dot-inspired design created by designer Erwan Bouroullec, reflecting a minimalist form aligned with Samsung’s design approach.

Music Studio 7 (LS70H)

Key features include:

3.1.1-channel spatial audio
Left, front, right, and top-firing speakers
Samsung Audio Lab Pattern Control Technology to prevent channel overlap
AI Dynamic Bass Control for reduced distortion
Hi-Resolution Audio playback up to 24-bit/96kHz

The speaker can operate as a standalone unit or pair with compatible Samsung TVs, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers using Q-Symphony. It will be available in black.

Music Studio 5 (LS50H)

Music Studio 5 is designed for smaller spaces where compact size and visual integration are priorities.

Its audio configuration includes: 4-inch woofer, Dual tweeters with a built-in waveguide
Tuning by Samsung Audio Lab in Valencia, California, AI Dynamic Bass Control for improved low-frequency output
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi casting, music streaming services, voice control, and Bluetooth support.

Connected audio ecosystem

Samsung continues to expand its connected sound ecosystem in 2026 through enhanced software integration. Q-Symphony now supports pairing up to five sound devices with compatible Samsung TVs, and automatic sound calibration based on room characteristics
Improved dialogue clarity and surround sound balance. Through Wi-Fi connectivity and the SmartThings app, users can control sound settings, manage group playback, access streaming services, and control playback from connected mobile devices.

Samsung’s wider audio portfolio also includes the Sound Tower series: Sound Tower ST50F, Sound Tower ST40F. These models launched in late 2025 and are designed for outdoor and social listening, complementing the Soundbar and Music Studio product families.

The 2026 Samsung sound device lineup will be showcased at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6 to January 9. Pricing and market availability will be announced closer to the rollout and may vary by region.
