Both come with Metal body and has Fingerprint Scanner on the rear. Redmi 5 has 5.7-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display whereas Redmi 5 Plus comes with  5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display
