Redmi Note 9 comes with Aura Balance Design. It comes with a Plastic build, In-hand feels is good overall build quality is good. It has a 6.53-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Single Punch Hole display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It produces good colors and a Viewing angle.
Performance
Redmi Note 9 is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm processor with up to 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 64/128GB eMMC 5.1 Storage, 6GB LPPDDR4x RAM with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The phone does get heat up while playing high-end games. Helio G85 not fully optimized for PUBG yet It lags in between. In terms of Normal use, Multitasking its good. The overall performance is good. Poco M2 Pro, Realme 6i offers better performance, UFS 2.1 Storage.
Camera
On-Camera, it has a 48MP rear cameras with Samsung GM1 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, PDAF, EIS, 0.8μm pixel size, LED flash, EIS, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 13MP front camera. Both cameras can record 1080p videos. The rear and front Camera captures good images in daylight, indoor conditions, Low light is average, Video recording is decent.
Battery Life
Redmi Note 9 is backed by a 5020mAh battery which is able to deliver more than one day of battery life. In our battery test, we got around 10 hours of battery life.
Fast Charging
Redmi Note 9 comes with 22.5W fast Charger in Box but it supports 18W charging which takes around 2 hours 30 min to charge 5020mAh Battery fully. 22.5W Charging support will be enabled later.
Redmi Note 9 comes with Rear Fingerprint Scanner which works fast, there is also support for Face Unlock which works well in daylight doesn’t work in Low light. Speaker output from Redmi Note 9 is average.
Redmi Note 9 priced at Rs 11,999, Rs 13499 for 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage, and Rs 14,999 for 6GB RAM. Redmi Note 9 4+64GB priced below Rs 12,000 is value for money compared to Realme Nazro 10. Realme 6i, Poco M2 Pro, Galaxy M21 are better options to Buy instead of Redmi Note 9 Higher variants.
