Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro in India. Redmi Note Series has been popular in India. Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with 48MP Rear Camera, Snapdragon 675 Processor priced at Rs 13,999. Redmi Note 7 Pro worth Buying over Realme 3 Pro and Galaxy M30 lets find out in our review

In Design Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a Glass build compared to Metal build on previous Redmi Note series phones. On the front, it has a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ Dot Notch Display, Sensors, earpiece, and front-facing camera, On the bottom Chin there is Notification LED. volume and power buttons on the right side.  USB Type-C port along with speaker grill on Bottom. hybrid SIM Slot on left.

On top, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and IR sensor. On The Rear, there is Dual Rear Camera with LED Flash, Fingerprint Scanner and Redmi branding on the bottom. The phone measure 159.21 x 75.21 x 8.1mm and Weight: 186g. Build quality is good, It’s difficult to use the phone in a single hand. It comes with a P2i hydrophobic nano-coating, which is claimed to protect the smartphones against accidental liquid spills and light rain

On Display, Redmi Note 7 Pro has a 6.3-inch (2340 ×1080 pixels) Full HD+ LTPS display, 450 nits brightness, 84% NTSC Color Gamut which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display produces good color, viewing angle, display Quality is good in bright sunlight. Auto brightness sensor works fine. The display comes with features such as Reading mode, Contrast and color selection, and text size options. Overall Display quality is good, Realme 3 pro has much brighter Display compared to Note 7 Pro whereas Galaxy M30 has AMOLED display.

Redmi Note 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 Processor with Adreno 615 GPU. it has a 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB Storage there is also 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB Storage. out of 64GB around 54GB is available for the user. It has support for MicroSD card up to 256GB It does not come with dedicated microSD card slot. The performance of the device is fast there was no lag while using the phone on daily basis tasks while playing high-end games for long time device we noticed minor frame drops and heating issue. Gaming performance good you cant play PUBG at a Higher setting. Glass body gets warm while playing PUBG or asphalt 9  for more than 30 min. Performance is good phone gets warm no major heating issue. On AnTuTu benchmark phone scores 175287.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor f/1.79 aperture 1.6μm pixel size, secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor with LED Flash and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with Screen Flash. Camera App features include  AI Portrait mode, AI Studio Lighting, slo-mo video recording, Night mode, 48MP Mode, Panorama, Pro Mode. The Rear Camera can record 4K Video recording. There is support for EIS at FHD 60fps, Slo-mo video support at 120fps, Front Camera can record 1080p videos. There is support for Camera 2 API out of the Box. At Stock Redmi Note 7 Pro captures at 12MP there is 48MP Camera mode in App. It produces good images under daylight and indoor lighting conditions, Portrait mode works well, Low light photos also good there is also support for Night mode. front Camera captures good selfies and Portrait mode is good. Video recording at 4K is shaky while at 1080p video recording is decent there is focusing issue, Camera App shut down automatically while video recording for a long time. Sometimes Opening Camera App takes Time, Overall Redmi Note 7 Pro Camera is better than Realme 3 Pro and Galaxy M30.

Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10.3.7. It comes preloaded with bloatware apps which can be uninstalled. MIUI comes with full-screen gestures, split screen, lock, Dual Apps, Second Space, Mi Play, Mi remote support.MIUI India ROM comes with Ads which can be disabled by going to MIUI Security app stop Receive recommendations. The user interface is smooth but full-screen ads can be an issue.

Redmi Note 7 Pro comes with face unlock. The Face unlock works well in Good lighting conditions does not work under low light most of the time, There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear which is fast and responsive can be used to unlock the device, capture photos, App Lock. Connectivity Options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 /5GHz) Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C Audio Quality from speaker and earphone is loud and clear,  Call quality was good with loud and clear sound. Redmi Note 7  Pro comes with Hybrid SIM slot 


It is packed with a 4000mAh battery with support for Qualcomm quick charge 4.0. Box Charger is 5V 2A which takes around 2 Hour 15Min to charger fully from 0-100%. Xiaomi sells Quick charger 3.0 in India Rs 449 with the fast charger it takes 10-15 Min less time compared to Box charger. Redmi Note 7 Pro offers good battery life in our test we got around 9 Hours of Battery life. Normal use phone can deliver 1 day of battery life with Dual SIM, Data, WiFi, Calls, playing Games with 7-8  Hours of Screen On Time.

Redmi Note 7 Pro priced at Rs 13,999 for 4GB RAM and Rs 16,999 for 6GB RAM. It offers good performance, Camera, Battery Life, Lacks fast charger in Box, Ads in MIUI, Hybrid SIM Slot whereas Realme 3 Pro offers fast charger in Box, Similar performance, Galaxy M30 has AMOLED Display.
